To obtain free help, email Michael Hessenthaler, the owner of this site, at .

Help, advice, opinion, on any issue relating to investigations. Free Help is available for the asking. How to investigate something, where to look for information, discuss work opportunities, check legal and commercial considerations, investigation training and more.

The free help is given by Michael Hessenthaler, the owner of this website. Michael has been a licensed private investigator since 1975 (now retired) in Australia and although he has some eccentric views at times, he has wide-ranging experience in all facets of investigation.

Michael says:

"Ask anything you want. Only one condition attached - courtesy - I give courtesty and appreciate same in return".

"If your question is simply 'how much to find someone' then I will ask you 'how long is a piece of string?' you have to tell me more, give me details, because many factors have a bearing on the time and cost involved."

"To give you sensible and hopefully useful advice or an estimate of investigation costs, you have to give me specific information about the subject of an investigation. The more you tell me, the more constructive I can be. All that you tell me is kept secure and confidential once it's arrived in system."

"If a question is outside my area of expertise, then I will be honest to admit it. I will give a fair considered opinion, but will not do an investigation for you free of charge. If you ask how something is done, whether something can be accessed, what is the procedure, then I will explain. Hopefully I can share some wisdom with you."
